The Glove Lady Herself

A Jersey Girl through and through – by way of Fair Lawn to River Vale, Leslie Smith has been married for 40 years, has two grown children and a dog.

She graduated from Syracuse University with a BA in Retailing and went on to work at Macy's for 10 years – first going through the Executive Training Program in Herald Square, NY. After a few years, she was promoted to the Buyer of the Small Leather Goods Department, Gucci Handbags and an Executive Business outpost.

Leslie has extensive buying and designing experience, traveling overseas to Florence, Madrid and Hong Kong to make her collections complete. It was after several years of traveling & growing Macy's business that Leslie decided it was time to go out on her own.

She then founded The Glove Lady and hasn't looked back.

The Glove Lady is a seasonal fashion knitwear business selling gloves, hats, scarves, wraps and umbrellas for men, women and children in Corporations and Hospitals in the Tri-State area (NJ, NY, CT).

The Glove Lady has a strong reputation for being honest, reliable and friendly all while keeping its prices at a moderate level.

The Glove Lady has been working with customers in person for years & it is now time to bring the business online!
